* The search for a head coach also continues this week for the Chicago Fire, who have interviewed New York Red Bulls interim head coach Richie Williams and RSL assistant Robin Fraser in recent days. A new name that has been throw into the hat? How about Eric Wynalda?
* Meanwhile, Toronto FC has lost their strength and conditioning coach after Nike stole away Paul Winsper to become the company's new sports performance director. Said Winsper: "There's only one position like this in the world, whereas there are a lot of fitness coaches in professional sports. I've been working for Nike for three years and Toronto FC have been absolutely fantastic about that. they've allowed me to travel all over the globe with Nike, even during the MLS season." That could explain why the club hit a wall during the second-half of the '09 campaign and eventually missed the playoffs for the third-straight season.
* In keeping with our coaching theme for this morning's links, we leave you with a sensational goal scored by Michael Bradley, son of current USMNT head coach Bob Bradley. He scored the fourth goal for Borussia Monchengladbach in their 5-3 victory over Hannover 96 this past weekend in a game featuring three (yes, THREE) own-goals scored by Hannover players.
Skip ahead to the 2:40 mark for Bradley's goal.
