Generation Adidas On Tour In England

Sixteen of Major League Soccer's Generation Adidas players have been invited to go on an 8-day trip to London where they will play a handful of games against reserve sides from the English Premier League. They also have the opportunity to attend two EPL matches and a UEFA Champions' League tie and will train at Chelsea Academy during their time in England.The team will be coached by San Jose Earthquakes skipper Frank Yallop and assistant Ian Russell during the trip, which runs December 6-14. The Generation Adidas squad will take on the West Ham reserve team on December 8th, the Chelsea reserve team on December 10th, and will finish with a match against the Aston Villa reserve team a day later.

Four players each were selected from both FC Dallas and Real Salt Lake to participate, while seven MLS clubs will not have representation on the roster. Here's a full list of the players who will be part of the excursion (one spot has yet to be determined):
