Blanco - on loan to Santos from the Chicago Fire in the MLS off-season - scored from the penalty spot in the team's 2-1 victory over San Luis on Saturday. The win, combined with their earlier 3-1 victory in the first leg, means Santos has advanced to the semifinal round of the Liguilla. Their next opponent will be Toluca, who advanced by defeating Tecos UAG by a score of 2-0.
