“We understand that these are tough economic times,” said Wizards President Robb Heineman. “We pride ourselves on offering high-performance, affordable entertainment that fans of all ages can enjoy. Our track record of offering free parking and having the best customer service in town is important to us. For this reason, we are lowering select season ticket prices next year for our ardent supporters.”The Wizards currently call a minor-league baseball stadium home while the kinks are being worked out of a deal to build a soccer-specific stadium for the club. In the recently concluded 2008 regular season, Kansas City sold tickets for 92.28% of available seats, indicating that the demand was certainly enough to at least leave prices where they were.
