Sounders Expansion Draft Selections

The roster for Seattle Sounders FC is beginning to take shape following the team's selection of ten players via an expansion draft on Wednesday afternoon.Here's a full list of the players selected:

- Nate Jaqua (F, Houston Dynamo)
- Stephen King (M, Chicago Fire)
- Jeff Parke (D, New York Red Bulls)
- James Riley (D, San Jose Earthquakes)
- Khano Smith (M, New England Revolution)
- Jarrod Smith (F, Toronto FC)
- Nathan Sturgis (M, Real Salt Lake)
- Peter Vagenas (M, Los Angeles Galaxy)
- Tyson Wahl (D, Kansas City Wizards)

These ten players join the Sounders' four existing signings - Kasey Keller, Freddie Ljungberg, Sebastian Le Toux and Sanna Nyassi - in preparation for the 2009 MLS season.
